On one of the last days of our visit to the Kruger Park, we came to a crossroads. There was a marker stone – about one meter high, wide, and deep. On it stood a sculpture – I thought. But suddenly, it moved. I\"\u0026\"t was a cheetah. We were able to drive within a few meters of it and gain the most powerful impressions – in the few seconds it sat still. Unfazed by us – cars are \"\"air,\"\" it sat completely still. Only its ears moved. But suddenly, it leaped from that pe\"\u0026\"destal – raced into the thicket in a few leaps and snatched an ostrich calf. Right before our eyes. Luk and I were completely astonished and fascinated. Often, you don't see anything at all for several hours.
