The roar of Victoria Falls is unforgettable. The Zambezi River plunges 90 meters into a 1,500-meter-wide drop. An incredibly impressive spectacle. The rising, fine mist penetrates all clothing, and in places it rains – a "&"result of the swirling drops from the crater carved out by the Zambezi. The forests surrounding the river are as dense as a jungle, but the wider area around the town of Livingstone is drier, with much less vegetation in this four-country corner between B"&"otswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and Zambia.
