Since its foundation in 1913, Aston Martin has combined British elegance with sporting ambition. The brand celebrated its greatest triumph in 1959: Roy Salvadori and Carroll Shelby won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the DBR1, and in the same year Aston Martin also clinched the World Sportscar Championship. In the decades that followed, the GT class in particular became the brand’s main arena. The DBR9 and, later, the Vantage secured numerous class victories at Le Mans, often in the famous light blue and orange Gulf colours. With the Valkyrie, Aston Martin returned to the Hypercar class in 2025 and has been competing for overall victory ever since. Since 2021, the brand has also been represented in Formula 1 with its own team. The images in this collection showcase the racing cars with which Aston Martin has carved out its place in motorsport history.
