In this section, we would like to inform you about the framing options we can offer you. At the top of the page, we would like to show you the selection we offer for prints. The examples clearly illustrate how the different formats appear in a room. At the bottom of the page, we provide information regarding the options for originals.

Framing of prints

  • Wooden frame

    For our smaller formats, S, XS, and XS Plus, we generally offer black and silver wooden frames. The frames have a slight wood grain that is only visible from a very close distance.

    Upon request, we can also offer an individual framing solution for the small formats. Please feel free to contact us.

  • Aluminum frame

    For our popular M-format, we rely on aluminum frames. We generally offer these in three colors: black, platinum, and silver.

    We are also happy to offer you a custom frame for this format as well.

  • Shadow gap frame

    Shadow gap frames are a high-quality addition to your stretcher frame. For many formats, we offer you the option of ordering your canvas directly with a shadow gap frame.

S-format

Glass size / mat size: 30 x 25 cm (standard glass) or 25 x 30 cm (standard glass)

Pencil sketch: 9 x 3 cm

Framing of originals

Online order

When ordering an original via our online shop without personal contact, we ship the original rolled. This offers the best protection for the original over both short and long shipping distances.

The original corresponds to the format specified in the product and can then be framed by a gallery owner, or by you personally, in a frame of your choice.

Shipping with frame

We are happy to assist you with our many years of experience in selecting a frame. Should you wish to have the original shipped with a frame to your desired location, there is one important detail to note.

We ship originals with your chosen frame, but without glass. Shipping the framed original with glass would expose the original to a high risk of damage, a risk we are unwilling to take in order to protect your future artwork in the best possible way.

Nevertheless, many customers choose this option and then have a local framer fit the frame with museum glass themselves.

Pickup

If you have the opportunity to pick up your original in person at our gallery in Weinheim, we would be happy to prepare a special moment for you to unveil your new painting in your chosen frame (with museum glass). For the subsequent transport, we will package the original as securely as possible so that you can transport it to your desired location with complete peace of mind.

Empty frame

In the event that your frame is damaged in an accident or you would like a different frame color, you can purchase a suitable replacement frame here.
