In this section, we would like to provide information about our expertise and the printing methods used for the prints available in our online shop. This includes the various types of printing, how they differ depending on your desired image size, and what to expect regarding the edition limits for a given format.
Printing methods
Fine-Art-Print
For the print formats S, M (pictured), XS, XS Plus (pictured), and ORP (prints matching the exact original dimensions), we rely on high-quality fine-art paper for the printing process. We use two types of paper for this; both are natural white and offer exceptional stability thanks to a weight of 260 g/m². This ensures the paper does not warp due to environmental factors under normal handling conditions. Printing is carried out using digital inkjet technology (EPSON 8-color printing—used for the "ORP," "QOR," and "XSOR" sizes). This process provides UV protection during the application of the ink itself, resulting in prints of exceptional longevity—the same quality used by photographers for wedding portraits, for instance. The smaller "S" and "XS" formats are produced using high-quality 4-color digital printing, though EPSON 8-color printing is also available upon request. Our greeting cards are likewise produced exclusively in Germany using natural white 300 g/m² paper and 4-color digital printing. The envelopes are also made in Germany and feature a beautiful natural white finish that perfectly complements the cards.
Canvas print
To uphold our commitment to the highest quality—including for XL-format canvas prints—we rely on the printing expertise of external partners. We have collaborated with these partners for years, ensuring we can consistently guarantee superior quality. The canvases are finished with a UV-protective coating; this nanometer-thin layer is virtually invisible and fully transparent, shielding the image from environmental factors. The canvases can be mounted on wooden stretcher bars; the standard material is 20 mm thick wood, though 40 mm options are available upon request. Print dimensions start at 70 x 50 cm and can be customized in 10 cm increments. Maximum dimensions are 120 cm for one side and 300 cm for the other. While our shop suggests standard sizes suitable for shipping, custom dimensions are available at no extra cost; pricing is based on the surface area. We have over 20 years of positive experience shipping these canvas prints using our four-layer packaging system. The first layer consists of tissue paper to gently protect the surface. The second layer is paper-backed bubble wrap, followed by two layers of cardboard.

Limitation
Limitation of a specific print
-
Fine-Art-Prints
All small-format prints are hand-signed by the artist with the specific edition number—for example, 7/100—and a small signature at the bottom edge of the image.

Canvas print
For canvas prints, the way the edition number is marked depends on the purchasing process. If you purchase the canvas via the online shop, the print may be shipped directly to you by our printing partner, making a handwritten edition number impossible; in this case, you will receive a certificate of authenticity containing the relevant details about your specific print. If you purchase a canvas print at our gallery or at an event, the artist can add a handwritten edition number if you wish.
